The Cabin in the Deep Dark Woods: A Discerner of the Heart
Welcome to “turn if you will” ministries homepage.
How to come into partnership with “turn if you will” ministry?
To partner with “turn if you will” ministry simply set a standard in your home to hold weekly or bi-weekly Bible studies. This can be accomplished by inviting family, friends and neighbors so that the message of John the Baptist is heard. Which is the baptism of repentance and then receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit that only comes through Jesus Christ.
Mark 1:1-11 [kjv] 1The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 3The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. 6And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; 7And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. 8I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. 9And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 11And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
When selecting material, choose a chapter out of the Bible and go over it verse by verse giving everyone in the group opportunity to ask questions or give opinions. All are encouraged to inquire of the Lord for direction. There are many articles on the web site IamSearchingForYouGod.com that can be used as a Bible Study templet. Or just simple start in the Gospel of John.
On attending church: whether or not you attend church is not important at this time; what is important is that you begin to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and coming into fellowship with your creator and savior; read John 1:1-18. One thing that must be fully emphasized is that all the churches in this world are run by men or women that are trying themselves to come into fellowship with Jesus Christ and some fall short of their calling. This short fall effects all that attend their church and further effects those outside the walls of the church building that have for such a long time felt a pulling to something that they can’t explain. The bible is clear that the Father will draw his children into fellowship with Jesus Christ; see
John 6.44-45 [kjv] 44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
It must be clearly understood that each individual is called into relationship with Jesus Christ and that relationship is through the Holy Spirit. No one will have an excuse when they stand before God on judgement day and say the preachers were not good enough or that they didn’t like the way that the churches were ran. Jesus Christ is calling you into fellowship with his Holy Spirit and it is up to you whether or not you except His calling on your life. Read Matthew 16:24-26 [kjv] 24¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 10:5-8 as we have freely received gifts from Jesus let us also freely give. Jesus did not hold back a healing from the people with faith, therefore let the healing began. It doesn’t have to be raising the dead or even healing someone in a wheel chair, it can be something simple, like just healing someone with arthritis in a finger. Build their faith and build yours.
Romans 13:1-7 & Titus 3:1-5; speaks to us about the governing authority and those who execute the responsibility of higher offices and rule over the people. Let us therefore pray that the hand of God send knowledge and wisdom upon them. Pray for our new President Donald Trump that the hand of God be not removed from his head and that all evil is removed from out of his path.
The Minister of Water Baptism
(The unnamed servant)
This packet on water baptism is intended to qualify you as an individual to a commitment in Jesus Christ. By accepting this packet you are acknowledging that you not only believe Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior but you are acting on that belief.
To those that hear and believe the gospel of Christ Jesus; the elect of God. May the inheritance of the Lord Jesus Christ be bestowed on you.
Truth: when the word and the deed become the same.
James 2.17. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22. Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23. And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
This packet should be completed from day one through day ninety in order, and you should not be skipping around. This packet is intended to mimic the Church in the manner in which it will come alive and speak to you. In other words it will act as the Holy Ghost with training wheels. Example, on any given day you will be instructed to read a passage in the book of Proverbs that correlates to the calendar date. (ie: it is September 20; you would read Proverbs chapter 20 that day). You may read the same chapter in the book of Proverbs several times, this is an intended design of this packet. It is also figured into this packet that there will be individuals that think they are born again that meet the minimum requirements and prerequisites. Some will discover that they are in fact not saved and have not been born again. The life force of this packet (the Holy Ghost) will begin to work on that person and bring them to the place where they can receive that inner peace that surpasses all understanding. Fasten your seat belts and hold on; your journey has begun.
The prerequisite to being issued this packet is to have read the book of John and Ephesians in their entirety within the last three months.
A one year reading plan is required for all individuals to follow after the completion of this packet or the use of a one year bible. It is recommended that the use of the King James Bible be used the first year. The King James Bible is the high water mark of all translations of the bible. All bible translations have their use and are good, but the King James is majestic in its nature.
Let us review. First, the book of John and Ephesians must be read within three months of being issued this packet. Second, this packet is a ninety day commitment to Jesus Christ. Third, you make a commitment to God to read the bible in one year.
Note: this packet may be used by any individual under the age of 15 whose parents wish their child to undergo a pre-dedication to baptism, but in no way does a pre-dedication substitute a baptism.
There must come a point when one is seeking God, that the seeking stops.
Acts 8.21. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
Mark 16.17. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (see day 65)
Matthew 4.8-11 Jesus tempted by the devil in the wilderness after forty day fast.
Mark 16.20. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Acts 28.3. And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
Acts 2.38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
When Reading pay special attention to: Job; Psalms; Proverbs; Ecclesiastes; Song of Solomon.
The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge and Wisdom – Proverbs 1.7 & 9.10. This statement encompasses three of the seven spirits of God or three of the whole council of God.
John 1.29. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 1.31. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
John 1.33. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
John 1.37. And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
John 1.42. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
Luke 7.29. And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
John 3.28. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
Matthew 20.22. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
Isaiah 11.2. And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
Mark 10.37. They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. 38. But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
Matthew 22.14. For many are called, but few are chosen.
I Corinthians chapter 15 is sometimes called the high water mark of the New Testament in the fact that Paul talks about the coming of the Lord and the first resurrection.
Before you get started there is one more instruction to undertake. You will need to get a separate note pad and journal all your chapters in the book of Proverbs. Not only do you need to journal the ones you read and what they say to your heart but you also need to when the ninety days are complete; question God about all the chapters of Proverbs that you did not read. This strange way to read the book of Proverbs is an intended design of this journey.
Day zero is your foundational day.
Begin with opening in prayer and then read Acts 12.5; Romans 1.9; I Thessalonians 5.17 & II Timothy 1.3.
Acts 12.5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
Romans 1.9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
I Thessalonians 5.17 Pray without ceasing.
& II Timothy 1.3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

Now read Psalms 22; narrated as Jesus hangs from the cross.
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
